A two-hour winter snowmobile tour through Podhale
The snowmobile tour takes two hours and starts at our base on Gubałówka in Zakopane. The guide leads the group on the Gubalovski Foothills, in the vicinity of Kościelisk, Dzianisz and Butorowy Wierch, and along the way we stop at a viewpoint on the Tatras. By reserving online, you pay 450 zł for a snowmobile with one person or 500 zł for two people.
It's a variant for those who want more than a short ride. Two hours of snowmobile rides are more kilometers, a few breaks on the route and time to really feel Podhale's winter landscape.

Extras for a longer route
Two hours in the cold is longer than a short ride, so it's worth considering extra protection. You can buy:
- waterproof reusable suit or disposable suit
- ski mask and gloves
- extended insurance that lowers the driver's responsibility for the snowmobile in case of damage from his fault
A guided tour – no previous snowmobile experience needed
There's no need to know the area or to ride a snowmobile before. The guide drives at the head of the group, selects a safe and legal route through Podhale, adjusts the pace to the participants and guard breaks every 20–30 minutes. This allows you to focus on driving and views for two hours.
The routes only follow the designated terrain trails outside the Tatra National Park, where motor vehicles are prohibited. In return, the wide panorama of the Tatras extends from the Gubałowski Foothills – the best visible from the snowmobile route.

Collection at the base on Gubałówka
We meet at 40 Zubka Road. Please arrive 20-30 minutes before the start time – free parking is available for participants.

Short pre-driving training
The instructor shows how to move, brake and turn with a snowmobile, and hands out helmets. It's also a moment to buy a suit or gloves.

Snowmobile ride through forests and clearings
We follow the guide in the long loop – through snowy forests, open clearings and hills in the vicinity of Kościelisk and Dzianisz. At breaks, the driver and passenger can switch seats, so both people have a chance to drive.

Panorama of Tatras from the viewpoint
At the viewing point we stop for photos and a moment of rest. On a two-hour trip you don't have to rush – there is time to enjoy the view of snowy summits.

Back to Gubałówka
The last episode leads back to the base. After two hours of driving, we finish the tour at the launch site.

How much does it cost to go on snowmobiles in Zakopane for two hours?

How is a two-hour trip different from an hour ride?
On a 2-hour trip you drive a longer loop through the forests, clearings and hills of Podhale, with several breaks on the route. An hour ride is about 12 km near the base. The stop at the viewpoint on the Tatras is in both variants.
Where do we go on our rides on the Podhale snowmobiles?
After the designated terrain trails in the Gubalovski Foothills – near Kościelisk, Dzianisz and Butorowy Wierch. The tour begins and ends at the base on Gubałówka, and the route does not enter the Tatra National Park.
Can you go on a two-hour trip without experience?
Yeah. Before the start, the instructor translates the snowmobile service, and the guide leads the group at a steady pace and breaks every 20–30 minutes. An earlier snowmobile ride is not required.
Who can drive a snowmobile?
The snowmobile can be run by an adult – driving licence is not required. For 16 years, young people have been able to drive under the care of their parents and children have been travelling as passengers for 3 years.
Can the driver and passenger change?
Yeah. During the breaks on the route, you can switch places, so both people can drive the snowmobile for two hours.
What to wear for a snowmobile trip?
Preferably a few warm layers: thermoactive underwear, fleece, winter jacket, thick socks and winter shoes. You can buy a suit, a ski mask and gloves at the base. The helmet is included in the price.
What months do snowmobile trips take place?
In winter – usually from December to March. The first trips start when enough snow falls, and the available dates can be seen in the booking system.
What if there's no snow on the day of the tour?
The reservation remains valid. When snow is not enough for snowmobiles, we switch them to quads or buggy and the tour takes place.
