An hour of snowmobile ride takes off from our base on Gubałówka in Zakopane. With the guide, you will cross about 12 km of trails in the vicinity of Kościelisk, Dzianisz and Butorowy Wierch, with a stop for photos overlooking the Tatras. When booking an online trip costs PLN 250 per snowmobile with one person or PLN 300 per two people. It's a good choice for the first time on a snowmobile or for a shorter winter attraction while in Zakopane.

Snowmobile rental in Zakopane – always with a guide
If you are looking for snowmobile rental in Zakopane, here is how it works: you ride for an hour with a guide. We do not rent snowmobiles for independent trips. Each group follows a guide who knows the route and conditions.
So you don't have to know the area or experience riding a snowmobile. We only drive on designated and legal routes, outside the Tatra National Park, where motor vehicles are not allowed.

Start from the base on Gubałówka
We meet at Zakopane Quady Base on Zubka Road 40 on Gubalówka. Please arrive 20–30 minutes before takeoff. For participants there is free parking at the base.

Instruction from snowmobile service
The instructor shows how to drive a snowmobile, and spends helmets. On site you can buy a suit, a ski mask and gloves.

Travel – approx. 12 km after Podhale
We follow the tour guide in the vicinity of Kościelisk, Dzianisz and Butorowo Wierch – through snowy forests and clearings, with Tatras in the background.

Photo break overlooking the Tatras
In the middle of the route we stop at a lookout point with a panorama of the Tatras. It's time for pictures and rest. During the break, the driver and passenger can switch places if both persons can drive a snowmobile (for 16 years, under the care of the parent).

Return to Base
After an hour of driving back to Gubałówka.
Who is the one-hour snowmobile tour for?
You don't need a driver's license to drive a snowmobile. Snowmobiles can be driven from the age of 16 under the care of a parent, and children can participate in trips from the age of 3 as a passenger.

How much does an hour-long snowmobile ride in Zakopane cost?
When booking an online one-hour ride costs PLN 250 per snowmobile with one person or PLN 300 per snowmobile with two people. at the ticket desk the price starts from 280 PLN. The price includes fuel, instruction, guide and helmet.
What is the length of the route and where do we go?
The route is about 12 km long and leads on the Gubalovski Foothills, in the vicinity of Kościelisk, Dzianisz and Butorowy Wierch, overlooking the Tatras. Start and finish are on base on Gubałówka. We do not enter the Tatra National Park, which is closed to motor vehicles.
Can you rent a snowmobile without a guide?
Nope. The snowmobile is rented only with the guide – each ride takes place in a group, after the designated routes. So you don't have to know the area or experience.
Do you need a driver's license?
Nope. A driver's license is not needed to drive a snowmobile. The driver may be an adult and the youth for 16 years – under the care of the parent. The passenger can be a child for 3 years.
Is the time enough for the first time?
Yeah. Before the start, the instructor shows the snowmobile service, and on the route the group follows the guide at a steady pace. The hour is about 12 km drive and a stop for photos - enough to feel the snowmobile ride and see the winter Tatras.
Can a child go as a passenger?
Yes, children for 3 years can ride a snowmobile as passengers with an adult driver. Young people can run a snowmobile under the care of their parents for 16 years.
Can the driver and passenger switch?
Yes, during the tour break. You can drive an adult or youth for 16 years under the care of your parent – you do not need a driving licence.
When is the snowmobile season in Zakopane?
The season usually lasts from December to March. Its start depends on when enough snow falls – current dates are visible in the booking system.
What if there's no snow?
The reservation's not great. When there are no conditions to ride a snowmobile, we turn the snowmobile into a quad or buggy and the tour takes place.
